The 2022 Teams

Itโ€™s been truly incredible to see a wide range of companies successfully apply for our 2022 programme, with sectors ranging from biotech to motorsports, architecture and marketing. What they all have in common, though, is that they are driven by product-based tech that can scale.

Without further ado, *drum roll*, here are the successful teams:

๐ŸŽ“ Fabric Academy is an on-line marketing training academy which empowers the most ambitious marketers to thrive โ€” from entry to boardroom level. The company was founded by Lisa Eaton who has over 20 years of experience building award-winning marketing strategies.

๐Ÿ Grid Finder helps racers find racing. Founded by Tom Bunten, with help from CTO Nikhil Patel, the company helps online racing communities to find their place on the grid. Grid Finder also took part in our 2022 Pre-Accelerator.

๐Ÿก Peek Home helps homeowners preview the potential of their home at the click of a button. Founded by Roland and Jaemi Glancy, the company provides professionally designed sketch plans to customers within days, for a fraction of the price of a traditional architect.

๐Ÿ’‰ Rapid Fluidics is shaping the future of Microfluidics, by offering design consultancy and rapid prototyping for devices that move or analyse tiny amounts of liquid. Founded by Paul Marshall, Rapid Fluidics helps lower the cost of medical diagnostic devices, produces faster results, and provides more control over experiments.

โŒš๏ธ Rove helps developers integrate their services with third party health/fitness data using just one line of code. Founded by Alex Ventisei and Will Rogers, Rove is set out to make the running of health and fitness apps much easier and more seamless. Rove also took part in our recent 2022 Pre-Accelerator Programme.

๐Ÿงฌ Turbinia measures modified proteins. Founded by Will Dracup, Turbinia has the potential to disrupt the medical industry by better understanding the proteins involved with viruses such as COVID. Will previously ran Biosignatures which raised ยฃ3.5m from ADV.

๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿป Wordnerds helps large B2C organisations *genuinely* understand their customers and employees across all of their different channels without crappy word clouds or abstract sentiment scores. Wordnerds was founded by Steve Erdal and Pete Daykin and has now grown to a team of 18.
